The F1 Fan Paddock (now running as F1 Paddock SL) is a Formula 1 hub for racing enthusiasts — race schedules, driver and constructor standings, team stats, news, stories, and live session data all in one place. Content is written in both Sinhala and English, and data is pulled from multipleAPIs and presented in a clean, at-a-glance layout.
The hardest part was wrangling the various F1 data sources into a consistent format. Race weekends have a lot of moving parts (practice sessions, qualifying, sprint races, the main event) and keeping everything organized required careful data modeling.
Live Standings & Race Data
A full Drivers' and Constructors' championship is rendered live, fed by the F1 data sources behind the scenes. Individual standings pages surface every driver, team, and their season totals at a glance.
Race Calendar & Countdown
The calendar keeps track of every round of the season — circuit maps, session start times, and full race-weekend schedules. The homepage also shows a live countdown to the next Grand Prix lights-out.
Stories, News & Videos
Beyond the raw data, the site runs as a real fan publication: long-form paddock stories, a rolling news feed, and a curated video section with race highlights and analysis.
Drivers & Live Timing
Driver profiles pull up season-by-season results, while a live timing dashboard tracks every session as it happens during a Grand Prix weekend.
